Naturally, the first order of business is figuring out why the hell his perfectly mundane technology insists on spewing self-defeating ritual magic everywhere. Clearly, the method to Arcane’s madness was being deliberately obtuse. The Light, sadly, didn’t seem to be in on the joke.
