The Traveler Initiative [A Monster Evolution LitRPG]

Liam is a down on his luck gambler and his life is falling apart at the seams. It all culminates in a rather unfortunate end, as his loan sharks come to collect. Yet, it would seem that he gets another chance at life. With no other choice, he joins the Traveler Initiative, which promises the freedom to explore planets across the universe, a new body, and a slew of other benefits. But even in this strange afterlife, his gambling addiction rears its ugly head and he somehow ends up as a... Slug??? What to Expect: - As a part of a personal challenge to myself, the MC spends A LOT of time alone. Dialogue is nowhere to be found, and neither are side characters. Until later into the story, ofc, but even then they only show up sparingly. There will come a time when everything opens up, but for now, the MC will be a lonely boy. - I am writing as a hobby, and I'm decently good at it. That being said, I'm writing this story for fun, which means not every detail is planned out, and there will be some inconsistencies or things the reader might find dumb. - Really just tryna have fun writing a dumb story, and for the most part, I treat it like a DnD campaign, tryna see where the story takes me. Some things are planned, most things aren't. This whole thing is just a happy little accident.
