The Path To Daemonhood

Marina Retali died the day after her fifteenth birthday. She knew what happened—she was murdered, and her body was tossed in a ditch to rot. She knew this the moment she awoke in the Underlands, the realm she knew as Hell. She quickly comes to realise that there is far, far more to this "hell" than she was ever taught, and that she's certainly not the first, nor the last to suffer this fate. As countless questions fill her mind, there are only three things she knows: her body has changed, tall black cliffs loom on the horizon in every direction, and most strange of all, that dark feathered wings have sprouted from her back. The only way she'll find answers is to keep moving forward; unknowingly setting off down the long, perilous journeyof The Path To Daemonhood. Of course, there's one last thing she knows, something she keeps hidden from all, tucked away in the very back of her mind: This isn't the first time she's been reborn in another world. Whether she'll ever learn the truth of why this happened or not, is an answer only her fate will tell. ___ A first-person narrative following the new life of Marina Retali, as she tries to make sense of the world she's been reborn into, playing with various fantasy/reincarnation/isekai tropes.
