The Classless Sorcerer's Self-Stealing System

Without a class, you'd might as well be dead. For Blychert, a young man with promising arcane abilities, that idea had never crossed his wildest dreams. Having spent his youth learning spells and gaining pre-class experience, Bly was certain to obtain a magic-class come selection day. That was, until the Guild revealed a damning secret: he, was classless. Now facing certain death at the hands of the Administration, a mysterious woman unexpectedly opens a door for his escape, giving him one opportunity to seize his destiny before it's too late. For in a world that will stop at nothing to keep its own dark secrets from being revealed, it's eat or be eaten. Author Note Hey there! This is aslow burn action-adventurestory that features LitRPG components at its core, in which our eager protagonist will go on a bit of a journey to become the strongest sorcerer he can possibly be, as he tries to find his place in a world that will stop at nothing to destroy him. Expect a slow-to-moderate pace involving action, adventure, lots of magic, lots of dungeons, and lots of interpersonal drama and/or otherwise. There will be plenty of political/supernatural intrigues, slice of life, and a ton of progression-oriented elements with a focus on world building, system dynamics, and character development. There is no immediate emphasis on the 'save the world' or 'chosen one' tropes at the beginning of this story, but they will definitely ramp up as narratives unfold. What to expect: -     A slow pace, with slice of life and drama distributed between the action. -     LitRPGprogression elements, magic-focused, no blue-boxes. -     Strong MC, with limited abilities that become progressively stronger. -     Soft sci-fi/high-fantasy blend. -     Large ensemble of characters, factions, nations, etc. -     A long narrative with travel to many places and lands. -     Potential romance, but an emphasis on personal growth and friendships. -     A balance of light-hearted, whimsical, high octane, and dramatic tones.
