Return of the Hell Ranger [OPMC/LitRPG]

Half a million soldiers—one mission—to kill the Death God. They called it ‘the Glorious Expedition’, sending an entire army to the portal to the underworld to save all of mankind, and it was a suicide mission. Marcus was a low-level [Scout] when he entered with his comrades, but after two decades of endless battle, Marcus, the last soldier of the expedition, now a max-level [Hell Ranger], killed the Death God alone. With nothing left to himself, except for his weapons, uniform, and the memories of the fallen, Marcus returns to his world, only to realize that the two decades he spent in the underworld have been the equivalent of four hundred years in his world. As expected though, killing the Death God isn’t going to be the end of mankind’s chaotic history, and he once again finds his peaceful retirement pushed back. Fortunately, as humanity’s strongest soldier, he might just have a chance to do another thorough cleanup of those who threaten his peace—one slash of his rapier at a time.
