What may seem a strange, and unfitting concept, naruto going in and out of lordran, quickly becomes exciting and intriguing with a competent writer on the wheel. The story starts at graduation day, so no time wasted until canon, and goes almost straight at the meat of it.The fights are good, but what honestly calls attention are the charachters, especially Naruto himself. The experience changed the malleable boy, and that, not the power, has already changed some essential parts of the story. The plot does move rather slow, consequence of having two main storylines and a protagonist with a strong inner world.

The only thing that isnt perfect, in my opinion, is the pacing of the story. The story feels to be progressing slowly compared to the growth of naruto. The fusion of the 2 worlds is great and the characters are well done. Thank you for this amazing piece piece of fiction

After 600 pages, I can say this is a solid read. The only minor hiccup might be that it is quite slow paced and there is this minor plot hole, but overall it is really good.Well, slow pace is a problem only when paired with high levels of predictability and repetitiveness and that has not yet come to pass.I like how everything makes sense, despite the collision of the two worlds. I am usually very sensitive to inconsistencies, but I find myself still reading even after so many pages.Good work author.

Just wanted to let you know that this fix is phenomenal.  Still have quite a bit to go to catch up but am already dreading when the backlog runs out.  Just so the author knows i would also read original content in a heartbeat.  The character development and word building are honestly on par or surpassing most of my current favorite authors.  Love it and continue to voraciously consume!

I will say first that the following is simply my rant on the story that I wrote after mentioning Naruto: Chosen undead on a different story and being asked by someone interested in reading it if it is a harem, and I don't feel like editing it, so I'm gonna copy/paste it here, but this is my genuine thoughts on the story and what I would say to anyone interested in reading this, so without further adue.I don't think the author has exactly chosen the love interest, though there are multiple that have been at least somewhat set up, though honestly with how the author is writing it I think a harem wouldn't be too bad, considering that harem is my least favorite trope that's saying something, the story is something like 70 chapters in and so far it's peak, long chapters (if sometimes a bit inconsistent updates, not too bad but still).the author seems to have a genuine interest in writing a story and isn't afraid to diverge from cannon, they seem to have a good grasp on the worldbuilding of both Naruto and Dark Souls and an interest in the lore, many chapters include authors notes at the end explaining their interpretation of the lore, and quite a few moments where they ask for input from the readers. I won't spoil it too bad but I'll just say that base idea is "what if Naruto got the Darksign" it's not an isekai/reincarnation thing, but DS Naruto has diverged a lot from the original, he's smart but not without some of that shonen protagonist charm.I will say now that Naruto doesn't stick in one of the worlds, he swaps between them, he can move between Naruto and lordran freely, I can't stress this enough though, the author UNDERSTANDS the lore and worldbuilding of each world, and enjoys expanding on it, so far it's wonderfully written with actual causality instead of riding cannon, if you choose to read it I'd love if you got back to me with your thoughts, but overall it's a well written story by someone with an interest in what the fans think and a desire to flesh out so

I did not know that the story was on this site. But I am more than happy to give it another five stars. It is a perfect blend of action, suspense, and character development, while also being an excellent fan-fiction crossover. Not only a crossover, but a good one with deep knowledge on both stories. It is also crossover between two major franchise favorites with fans in the millions. Naruto, one of the most popular anime/manga of all time. And dark souls, one of the best video games all the time(in my opinion). His writing style makes it so that the travel between two worlds is more organic than it seems. Oh I also forgot to talk about his writing, it’s excellent. It also isn’t going to turn into a harem all of a sudden. (on another site, I gave him a five star review but it had a concerning tag. In the rating, I said that I could ever turned into a harem I would read it lower. He removed the tag.) this is the Fan-fiction I look forward to most. It is also probably my favorite fan-fiction to date(to this point) Give it a shot and you won’t regret it.

This has no right being as good as it is. Great story and characters. Fun to read. Clearly the author knows both genres well. All the characters grow in their own way. I feel attached to both worlds at once, which is special.I can't wait to keep reading. Hopefully I don't run out of chapters anytime soon.

Naruto: the Chosen Undead, is much better than you might think, it is not one of those low effort power fantasy crossovers, but rather a genuine attempt to write about two very interesting worlds, both of which the author is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about. The characters of both worlds are fleshed out, the author clearly has strong ideas for how they want the characters to appear, and the capability to make those ideas come to fruition, the dark souls characters especially are absolutely awesome.Naruto grows rapidly as a character, but this doesn’t happen on its own, he learns from many other characters, making his character growth feel especially solid, and connecting him to both worlds in the story.there are very few grammar or editing problems, and they don’t have much of an effect on the story.I really like the style of the story, despite both Naruto and dark souls being such dark universes, the story manages to feel light hearted at places, (though never excessively so), and when the story needs to be dark, the author portrays the heavier hitting aspects very well, the story so far is very interesting, with cool changes to how natuto’s plot occurs, the author clearly has a direction they want the story to take, and it’s exciting to see how that will unfoldstrongly recommend you read, very well written.

Truly one of the greatest Naruto fanfic tons, crossovers, litRPGs, and stories in general. This is a masterclass in character writing. I’ve teared up, gotten excited, and haven’t been able to put this down. If you want a story that put love into the process, mechanics, and reasoning behind each decision, this is it. It’s definitely in my top 10 all-time favorite stories.
