This book is worth the time to try out. It’s fairly polished, negligible spelling and grammar errors, and decent prose. You should give it a try. There are some issues, however. The prequel to this book is not nearly as enjoyable as this one, I could not read it, and as a result I think maybe I am missing out on backstory that makes the entirety of the novel fall together somewhat better. There are a lot of little side events that allude to future events and they just feel like filler, since this novel is so slowly paced that these allusions will be long forgotten, making these parts feel like filler.Once the children arc begins, the slice of life stuff becomes extremely repetitive, to the point where it feels like text is copy pasted from prior chapters. Fortunately it’s quite easy to skim these parts, but I could not imagine reading this novel chapter by chapter, it’s absolutely something to binge.Similarly, there are a lot of side characters, and this is good and bad. The adult side characters are usually pretty well developed, but there are way too many kids in the various families and they intermix to the point that it’s extremely difficult to keep track of them, especially with the simplistic naming convention. Every single minor baby doesn’t need their own segment.Overall, worth a read. It’s a good enough story, with the major flaw being that the slice of life chapters just get repetitive, to the point where I’m starting to struggle to catch actual plot details in the mix. I think I’ll probably drop this if the next slice of life arc still feels repetitive, but up until the novel starts heavily featuring multiple kids, it’s quite enjoyable.

I absolutely love this novel. It's an amazing slice of life with excellent world-building. While there are some cliché characters, there are also many fantastic ones. By "a lot," I mean numerous, deeply engaging characters. Taibot succeeded in influencing my feelings profoundly. He made me cry over characters, worry about their fates, feel extreme happiness for a young girl’s vision being treated, enjoy epic fights, and eagerly anticipate solving the mysteries of the world and adventuring within it.StyleThe author's style has changed from the first story, especially with the inclusion of other characters' thoughts. This adds depth and variety, though it can sometimes be tricky to identify whose thoughts are being conveyed. Overall, this change enhances the narrative.StoryThe story is fantastic and builds on the foundation laid by the first one. It quickly distinguishes itself while adding new themes and developing from the previous story. The continuation ties the stories together nicely, though there are moments that feel a bit unrealistic or fast-paced in character interactions. Nonetheless, this is understandable in a fantasy world where suspending disbelief is part of the experience.CharactersThe main character (MC) is dynamic and has shown considerable growth since the last story. He has a better understanding of himself, the world, and others. Despite still making questionable choices at times, these moments highlight his maturity and development. One of the aspects I love most about the MC is his caring nature towards his siblings and children. He is very fleshed out and realistic, as are all the characters in the novel. Their depth and realism add significantly to the overall enjoyment of the story.D&D SystemThe D&D system of fighting was initially strange to me, but I have come to understand it better. While it may not be my favorite, I don't dislike it. It offers unique benefits and has led to unexpected plot twists that I believe even Taibot didn’t antici

When i found this story i didn't know what i was getting myself into. The first few chapters where a little bit hard to follow since there is "Beyond Average" before this one, but i managed to hang on, and i'm glad i did.The MP is a little bit OP, but i like the fact he doesn't take anything for granted and take every threat very seriously. Is actions are sometimes bizarre, but if keep in mind he has a LOT of emotional bagage, his reactions are understandable. He is also a litlle bit hard to follow but very likeable, the worldbuilding is very intersting, and the System is a nice new take on Litrpg.

An EXTREMELY slow paced, well written novel centered on slice of life, progression, story, characterization and with bouts of action every so often. The story will leave you laughing and with a smile on your face as the MC goes about everything in a very lackadaisical way. He is serious when it comes to protecting his family and interacting with others (when he remembers to), and otherwise banters with almost every single person or thing he meets.I love the story and the main character. Definitely give this one a chance.

Amazing storytelling, good humour and fantastic understandable power system. The consistent daily uploads, males it something i read every night before i go to sleep. The amount of spelling mistakes i found throughout, can be counted on 1 hand or less.Overall amazing, would recommend, if you like reading a long story.

I have to admit, this here is some great story, and is one of the reasons I started learning english again to be able to write my own so I won't be grading it with anything other than 5 stars.pros: great world building, diverse cultures and beliefs. KIDS, lots and lots of chonky kids being sassy and growing up oblivious to surrounding world's danger and plights. interesting cast of party members and enemies. a lot of space to grow.cons go in the spoiler bin, so read if you want to.cons : it puts slow in the slow burn and tries so hard being slow burn at times while having nothing to burn meaning : no chill sub plot at times just day to day I did this I did that, and occasional mental break-down that is not relatable (mc really loves to kick himself down and justify his death cult communist overlords. and sometimes it doesn't make any sense) the story leaves you in suspense for long periods of time, there are open hooks and plot lines from 3 years ago that are not mentioned ever again, and the story hates to <TELL> anything while it doesn't <show> much either and just lets you guess and whatnot.another point is that if you don't enjoy day to day repetitive dialogue and happening at rest seasons in book you won't enjoy this, because easily 400 out of 1000 chaps are considered filler if you don't enjoy that.to me it lacks heartfelt dialogue, the main thing in the story seems to be the Iyr (death cult) and all characters from them can be like:A: okay ? B: okayand that's it the last time a father may talk to his grown up child, after reading about their inner turmoil and their anger or desperation (the other type is A:HM?B:Hm.or a short answer to it) so yes I know it's the type of people they are but IMO it hurts the story a lot.It hurts me to say this but the amount of real character growth is a big fat 0 for some characters after 5 years in story. and let's not talk about the enemies or people we don't focus much on, those poor people go in a freezer and just come ou

First of all, I have to confess, this is one of the best stories that I have read on this site(And I have read most that are still ongoing).I have dropped a lot of books and I've even dropped this but I come back again and again. sometimes I come back for the kids, sometimes I come back for families and bonds that are forming and sometimes it's just for glory of sun god and watching 6 fireballs be cast in quick succession. Just read it you will enjoy it and probably overdose on children being cute, little devils and chonky at the same time.Grammer is nice and it reads smoothly so that is an easy 5 already.Story is full of development and foreshadowing that is both frustrating and enjoyable. Oh you saw an intriguing event? Wait 600 chapters for it to bear fruit so you can enjoy the dots connecting.for me this is a 5 too.Style is experimental but nice you see a lot of changes and new things that the author use to convey the story better.(It can be a slug sometimes because of 100 chapters of "dad doting on child pdf" but you can binge the cuteness so READ IT) style gets a 4.5 from meCharacters oooooh characters: do you want the short version? They don't make sense, and it's good for the story. You see people following tradition while they know it's wrong but their pride and stupid honor doesn't allow them change. You see people making mistakes and owning them, learning from the outcome and grow to be better without fear of change. You don't see people scheming but you feel the aftershock and waves their impact causes .Most are not 2d characters, and the ones you believe to be 2d are just not shown enough(you have not heard enough stories about them or have not seen them interact with mc ).All in all?? It's FREEEEread it while you can and enjoy 1000 chappies of back and forth between fate and will wanting to have their own way with the flow of what's happening in the world at large

I'm up to date as of the time of my review, and I've loved everything so far, from the characters to your goofy little authors notes, your characters, the important ones, not necessarily every side character, are all great. I don't have much to say on them besides that almost all of them are entertaining and none of them seem one dimensional or poorly written. The story, oh man it's been a ride so far. The story can drag on in places, it rarely does mind you, but where most stories that drag on will lose my interest at some point or another and I'll have to come back to it later, your story has updated frequently enough and more importantly been interesting enough to hold my attention the whole way through so far. To be honest I've been caught up for weeks maybe months and been meaning to review but kept putting it off so it's really impressive to me that I've been eager enough to read this that I check for an update every couple days. It seems like you've got a good handle on pacing the story as well, like I said earlier when it drags on it never does so for long. I would go as far to say there hasn't been a single chapter I disliked wholly to any degree.Your style of writing is good and I have no complaints as to your grammar, if anything I might misread things more often than you make typos or any such thing like that. Your D&D system of fighting but contained in a story format that doesn't offend the eyes like some fics with walls of blue boxes sometimes can is very unique and interesting as well, haven't seen anything similar outside of quests on sites like QQ and akun, huge fan of that. All in all I'm not sure what else to say, I'm not that good of a reviewer but you deserve at least a few words for this story. Thanks for writing it.

OverallI greatly enjoyed the first story and this one seems to have taken what worked well in the first one and ran with it while improving on some of the other aspects.StyleThe style has changed notably between the first story and this one, though that is not necesarily bad. I feel it was an experimental change to include other character's thoughts. The author does a good job with the inner monologues. Sometimes they add a bit of comedy, sometimes it gives more context for the reader, and other times it just adds flavor. The only sticking point I have is that it can be sometimes difficult to immediately realize whose thoughts they are as sometimes one person will be speaking and the thought of a different person follows right after. It can also make it a little difficult to discern if a sentence spoken or thought when " and ' appear back to back. I do think that this was a great addition, though!StoryPossible vauge spoilers for this section, though probably not. This is my way to CYA.What can I say really? The story is great! It definitely echos the first, but pretty quickly distinguishes itself. It adds new themes, developing from the first story and bringing with it some of the mishaps with it, tying the stories together nicely. There are some moments I feel are a little unrealistic/fast-paced (lack of better terms) between characters, but I understand that some people are just built different. I also will concede that it is not unreasonable to suspend disbelief in a fantasy world.CharacterThe MC is pretty dynamic. He's learned and grown since we've last seen him and seems to understand himself, the world, and others better. He still has his moments where he does not make the best choices, but that just goes to show the amount that he has matured. He is a very fleshed out and realistic character, as are all of the characters so far.9/10 Jurots

[EDIT] The review below was written at 503 chapters. Now we are at a bit over 600 and it definitely got better. More sceneries, more action. I like!I only continue to read because of the sunk cost fallacy. The last 100? 200? chapters are a blur because they are all literally the same chapter, consisting of one and most times more of the following:- Adam enchanting something- Adam proclaiming his love for his kids and/or sister- Adam being confronted by the Elders- Adam mentioning the word "bully/ing" about 83 timesThe scenery only changes like 2 times in the last 300 chapters. At least that's what it feels like to me.I feel like the story is stuck in time while simultaneously moving through the seasons. The story was once a big river that pulled me in, but now it dried out and is only left as a small stream of muddy water that won't let me go. I do hope for it to rain again.
